Students are required to apply for student visa in order to stay and study in Germany, then they would be required to prove to the visa officer that they have finances for at least one year in a Blocked Account. The amount would be €934/month or €11,208/annum. A student visa issued to students is valid for a maximum of two years. It needs to be renewed if the duration of the course is longer than the stated two years.
