Student Visa Requirements for USA
Many Indian students, with other international students, plan to go to American universities for college level education because some USA colleges are ranked in the top universities of the world.
Documents are required for USA Student Visa:
You need to take a lot of documents for tourist visas compared to student visa. You need compulsory documents with supporting documents of financial and academic records. Make sure you check this checklist before going to the Consulate for Visa Interview.
Documents Required
- A valid passport with validity date for at least six months before the duration of stay.
- DS-160, a printed copy of the online application form.
- Interview appointment letter (original and duplicate)
- Form I-20 sent by college (where you are going to study)
- Visa fee payment confirmation receipt.
- Bank statement for at least three years indicates that you have enough property to pay for the first year (can be of parent or guardian)
- Payslips
- Original mark sheets/provisional certificate.
- Score sheet of exams like TOEFL, GMAT, IELTS, etc.
